She/They Undyne Theory

 So a little detail in ch4 a few people have noticed is that susie refers to Undyne as "they". Now I know this sounds like a tumblr joke but HEAR ME OUT, what if Undyne going by she/they is actually the key to figuring out whatever the Knight & Tenna's plan was in ch3.

So this Tenna dialogue is asumed to refer to the Knight right? WRONG!

What if the Knight isn't actually a useless chud, and had been there the whole time waiting for Undyne to arrive.

Toriel was obviously never the target, as she doesn't have any relevance with this whole conspiracy (no the DELTA RUNE in the bunker is NOT refering to Toriel), she's just leverage over the Lightners. But the moment the plan goes aray and Tenna ditches the Knight to let the lightners win, The Knight has to come in and pretend to kidnap Toriel so it can stall them even longer, waitng for Undyne to arrive and immediately kidnap her the way it WASN'T kidnapping Toriel, but in a much more effective way.

Anyways that's the whole theory. It explains the weird stuff with the ch3 plan but then again it ruins the "Late Night" pun from the chapter title, since it's reinforced with the Cold Place save points that Night and Knight are meant to be a double entendre here.

It's just that I find it dumb that the knight would be so incompetent, but then arrive minutes to SECONDS before Undyne, the clear target, BY COMPLETE COINCIDENCE.
